MATTHEW I. BAKER, an associate with the firm since 2002 concentrating in plaintiff's medical malpractice, personal injury and wrongful death and has obtained numerous six and seven-figure settlements.  Mr. Baker is an experienced trial attorney.  Prior to joining Sandman, Levy and Petrich, Mr. Baker worked for firms concentrating in medical malpractice and wrongful death cases.

      Mr. Baker is a member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, Illinois State Bar Association, American Trial Lawyer's Association and Society of Trial Lawyers.  Mr. Baker has also been an instructor for IICLE (Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education) with regard to medical malpractice and personal injury type cases.

      Mr. Baker received his J.D. from Washington University School of Law in 1981 and received his B.A. in Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis, MO in 1978.
